ARMED officers have swooped on a street in Fife following reports of a disturbance.
More than ten police vehicles descended on Haig Crescent in Dumfermline this afternoon.
Dramatic pictures and video shared by Fife Jammers Locations show specialist gun cops wearing black holding firearms surrounding the residential area.
The area was locked down from around 2.25pm this afternoon.
The nature of the disturbance is not yet known.
Cops said they remain at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.25pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, we were called to a report of a disturbance in the Haig Crescent area of Dunfermline.
“Officers are currently in attendance and enquiries are ongoing.”
